Single Life

Although I’m no longer single, my journey to married life was an interesting one, to say the least. It was a long road full of opportunities for growth and, most of the time, it seemed like it would never end. I experienced ups and downs; moments of happiness and periods of extreme sadness. At times, I had feelings of contentment and satisfaction with single life. And then I’d be angry and want to quit. Yet another roller coaster for me.

Worth It?

Now, I’m able look back and feel gratitude for all of my experiences during this chapter of my life. Some of them make me cringe, but without them, I wouldn’t be the woman I am today. My faith in God grew exponentially during this time. Truth be told, it was actually the sharing of a few of these stories with single ladies over the course of a few weeks that sparked the feeling for sharing more. I believe God put Existing for More on my heart during those conversations. Even though I’m not single today, it’s an important part of my journey to share.
